Wanderings: Slam poetry encounters Jewish Identity
Weaving Talmudic story telling traditions with slam poetry, Yoram Symons presents a spoken word journey into the heart of the Jewish soul. A suite of poems including Make Religion Vaginal Again, The Reforged Oven and No Fear At All, come and explore experiences of sex, love, social justice, the Israel Palestine conflict and the role of Torah in contemporary politics. Intense, emotional and utterly engaging, this is Jewish storytelling on speed.
