As part of my Masters in Social Work I undertake placement with a range of organisations working in the area. When on placement with the Salvation Army over Summer 2017/18 I was exposed not just to a range of hardships and issues that people face every day but also the way in which the Salvos are working to assist and support those people. What I learned has influenced my work and myself as a person
