How a "nice Jewish boy" from Jerusalem ended up with a communion-taking-Italian-Catholic. Mishy Harman grew up in the Conservative movement. For years he read the Torah portion at shul and put on tfillin every morning. and even today he still feels extremely connected to Judaism and proud of it. But later this month, he will be marrying - to his great surprise - a devout Italian Catholic. Mishy will talk about his feelings about entering an interfaith marriage, and explain why he isn't nearly as concerned about it all as his mother is.
